ABOUT THE ARTIST

Horses are very much central to my lifestyle, and this is reflected in my body of work.

As a Swiss native, I moved to Texas to earn a bachelors degree from Texas Christian University and pursue a competitive cutting horse riding career. After completing my studies, I remained in Texas to run the family Cutting Horse Ranch.

As much of my day revolves around caring for, breeding and showing cutting horses I came naturally to the idea of exploring their beauty, and the age old human-horse relationship through photography. In 2015, I completed the photography program at the New York Film Academy in New York City and shortly after, created my first major project: “Aspects Of Power, Light and Motion” which was subject of a solo exhibition at the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame in 2017 and 2018.

Now splitting my time between Texas and the United Kingdom and shooting mostly on film, I continue to explore the bonds between humans and horses and the lifestyles which revolve around these animals.
